Hershey’s Last KISS

Last night I attended my third concert, so far, on KISS’ End Of The Road Tour, and it was great! I previously saw the band back in the spring in Philadelphia and then Atlanta. Both of those shows were inside large arenas, while this one was outside, making for a totally different atmosphere. With 20,000 fans in attendance and sweltering heat, it was a high-energy performance that had people on their feet the entire time. And with it taking place in an amusement park, I know it conjured up images for fans of the cult classic KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park.

Meeting Clive Barker

On August 18, I met one of my horror idols: Clive Barker. A multi-talented artist who has mastered numerous mediums, Clive is a playwright, an author, a director, and a painter. He created, wrote and directed Hellraiser, his most famous work, and he’s also known for Candyman and Nightbreed, as well as more than 20 novels, hundreds of incredible paintings, and so much more. Meeting Joe Bob Briggs

In March, at NJ Horror Con and Film Festival, I met Joe Bob Briggs, who is an actor, writer, and the host of The Last Drive-In With Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder. For decades Joe Bob has been sharing his insightful film commentary and witticisms with millions of viewers. You might know him from TMC’s Joe Bob’s Drive-In Theater or MonsterVision on TNT, which were popular programming in the 1980s and 1990s, or The Last Drive-In on Shudder, where he literally broke the internet in 2018. You might even know Joe Bob for his reviews of movies in the Dallas Herald Times in the early 1980s. Regardless of where or when you first discovered Joe Bob, he’s not the kind of person that you forget.

A Conversation With Marc Mero

I recently spoke with Marc Mero, America’s #1 most requested school presenter and the founder of Champion of Choices, a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching and inspiring children and adults to make positive live choices. In addition to being an inspirational speaker who travels the world presenting to elementary and high school students, Marc is a former professional wrestling champion in WWE and WCW and a four-time NY State Golden Gloves Boxing Champion. Additionally, he’s the author of How to be the Happiest Person on the Planet, an excellent book about his life story and lessons learned along the way. Through Champion of Choices, Marc has shared his inspiring story with over one million people, and his video A Mother’s Love has been watched worldwide by more than half a billion people! Considering how busy Marc is, I’m honored to have had the chance to speak with him, and I hope you enjoy our discussion.
