Movie Review: Marley & Me

I love animals. I often say they’re better than humans. After all, they provide us with unconditional love and they don’t have all of the faults and issues that humans do. Especially now, when many of us are at home because of COVID, our pets provide us with a level of joy and love that is irreplaceable. I also believe that until you live with a pet, you don’t fully understand just how profound that connection can be. They truly are wonderful beings. Yesterday was Thanksgiving, and I hope everyone reading this had a fabulous holiday. Mine consisted of a bounty of food and watching two movies with my wife: The Break-Up and Marley & Me, both starring Jennifer Aniston. If you’ve never seen Marley & Me and don’t want me to spoil it, stop reading here. If not, let’s dive in.

Movie Review: The Wrestler

Today, I watched The Wrestler for the first time since it came out nearly 11 years ago. It is still a fantastic movie. It’s very much the pro wrestling version of Rocky Balboa, an equally fabulous piece of cinema that is gritty, authentic, and overflowing with emotion.

WWE: Survivor Series Sunday

Right before I wrote this sentence a voice came through my computer and yelled, “Welcome to WWE ThunderDome!” I’ve been in the WWE ThunderDome before, and I’m very excited that I can be in the crowd for tonight’s Survivor Series because it’s The Undertaker’s Final Farewell, capping off a 30-year career in WWE.

All Elite Wrestling Announces Launch of AEW GAMES

If there’s one thing I love just as much as wrestling, it’s video games. Both of these passions played a big role in my youth and are still a massive part of who I am today. Wrestling video games, specifically, are some of my absolute favorites. Read my book review of Wrestling With Pixels for a rundown of my favorite pro wrestling video games of all time. I may have a new one to add to the list because All Elite Wrestling announced that it’s launching AEW Games!
