Gene Simmons is a busy man. When he’s not skulking across the stage at a KISS show, he’s performing with his solo band, appearing at comic conventions, talking about his forthcoming career-spanning box set, The Vault, or promoting his new book: On Power.

I finished reading On Power in just a few sittings. It’s a fantastic book – much more substantive than I originally thought it would be. In addition to espousing his thoughts on the importance of wealth and power and how to attain both, Simmons devotes sections of the book to figures who have overcome the odds to achieve legendary status. Some of these individuals include Oprah Winfrey, Warren Buffett, Elon Musk, and Napoléon Bonaparte. I found these parts of the book to be fascinating because I learned something new about each person, and reading about their unique situations helped expand on and strengthen Simmons’ pragmatic approach to wealth and power. If you’re looking for an entertaining and enlightening book about how to make the most of life and achieve your full potential, On Power is required reading.
