If you thought I was done with heavy hitters for my books about the history of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, think again! I spoke with Ken Anderson, a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, at length about his time with the company. We covered his feuds with Sting and Kurt Angle, including Angle’s crazy moonsault off the top of the cage at Lockdown 2010, as well as his time in Immortal, working with legends like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. I got Ken’s thoughts on AJ Styles, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Jarrett, Dixie Carter, and more. We also talked about Aces & Eights and why he was let go from TNA, among many other topics. It was an absolute pleasure interviewing Ken. He’s always been one of my favorite wrestlers, and he’s criminally underrated. I look forward to his future in the business, and I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity to speak with him for my book project.

I also had the good fortune of being able to interview the legendary Rhino. This mastadon of man has achieved monumental success in ECW, WWE, and TNA. He’s currently part of the Violent By Design faction in IMPACT Wrestling, which is led by the incomparable Eric Young, who I also interviewed, and his career has gotten a shot in the arm as a result. Rhino has been part of a variety of memorable matches and moments with Abyss, AJ Styles, and others. We talked about Hardcore Justice 2010, Tommy Dreamer, and other pivotal moments and individuals throughout his time with TNA/IMPACT. It was an enlightening discussion with a hardcore icon.

Savio Vega used to be the head agent and trainer for the Knockouts back in the golden days of TNA. He was also an agent during the Ring Ka King project in India in 2012. We spoke about both experiences, and he offered interesting thoughts and stories, providing me with his take on the importance of the Knockouts, what it was like working in India, and more. Savio was as nice as could be and I appreciate the opportunity to speak with him.

John E. Bravo is a big part of the modern-day version of IMPACT Wrestling. When he’s not dealing cards at Swinger’s Palace, John is featured in some wild storyline line, like Who Shot Bravo? or Wrestle House. His comedic abilities and flashy sense of style have made him a fixture in the company. We spoke about this, as well as his days as a referee and manager, and the roles he plays behind the scenes, helping to ensure the long-term health of the company by contributing as much of his hard work as possible. John is a great human being who has a deep passion and affinity for IMPACT Wrestling, and I’m thrilled that he’s going to be part of my books.
