Today’s Bloganuary post is based on the prompt: “What books do you want to read?” Read on for my response.
I read more than 100 books a year. I love audiobooks, eBooks, and physical books. I love mysteries and thrillers. I also enjoy autobiographies and biographies of historical figures. Self-help books that provide me with ways to improve my life also catch my interest. Variety is the spice of life, and the same holds true for reading. I believe in keeping things fresh.
Some of the books I want to read include The Walking Dead novels. I’m currently reading the first one, and it’s highly enjoyable, so I look forward to reading the rest. I also look forward to reading the latest Murder, She Wrote novel and the upcoming one. Harlan Coben and Lisa Scottoline have new books coming out in March, and I have both preordered because they are my favorite authors.
When it comes to nonfiction books, I look forward to reading Patrick Stewart’s autobiography. Henry Winkler and Bob Odenkirk also have memoirs I want to read. Being a massive pro wrestling fan, I have Becky Lynch’s autobiography preordered and look forward to diving into it upon its release.
Whether you read comic books, novels, nonfiction, or magazines, all that matters is that you read. Consuming written text through physical books, eBooks, or audiobooks is a vital way to keep your mind engaged and your imagination firing on all cylinders. I love nothing more than escaping into a great book, and I hope the same is true for you.
