When I first booted up Formula Legends for Xbox, I was ready to be swept away by the roar of classic engines, the shimmer of stylized circuits, and the thrill of arcade-style racing. On the surface, the game delivers exactly that: a beautifully crafted homage to the sport’s most iconic eras. But once I got behind the wheel, I realized this wasn’t the breezy, pick-up-and-play racer I was hoping for—it’s a full-on simulation, and that shift makes the experience far less fun than it looks.
