Today’s Bloganuary post is based on the prompt: “What do you complain about the most?” Below are my thoughts on this question.
I’m not averse to complaining. Just ask my wife. Ha! However, I do my best not to dwell on things not being the way I’d hoped. I may spend a few minutes talking about something that has me down or irritates me, but then I do my best to focus on the positives and move forward.
If I had to pick one thing I complain about the most, it would be waiting for something to come to fruition. I’m not the most patient man in the world, especially when it comes to myself. If there’s something I’m thinking about accomplishing, I want to make it happen as quickly as possible.
One place I don’t complain is at work. I think it’s a waste of time and energy. I’d much rather solve problems than complain about them. I always tell those I manage to acknowledge a problem and then spend their time and resources on resolving the matter. It’s what’s best for the individual, the team, and the organization.
