IllFonic, Inc. is eager to announce some major updates and additions to Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game. The Dev Team is ready to roll out the game’s Summer/Fall 2024 Roadmap, a July game update, and announce a physical edition game. Their goal is to provide a full 360-experience for the fans… added content, characters, maps, a physical edition game, and more!  

Summer/Fall 2024 Roadmap

Beginning this month, players will see up to two updates and/or new DLC drops monthly. Below is the detailed roadmap. The developers are thrilled to offer throughout the Summer/Fall 2024 roadmap – 2 free new maps, new mini-games, multiple paid new characters, cosmetics, and more. All will be released on Steam for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.  

July 1.3.0 Game Update

Along with the summer/fall roadmap, the newest game update, 1.3.0, will be released on July 16, 2024, and will include the following:

• Player Resurrection Card – A new Hand of Fate card will bring you back to life if drawn.
• Drop Inventory While Cocooned – Players can now drop items from their inventory while cocooned.
• Respawn After Falling Off Map – Issues that caused players to fall out of map boundaries will now respawn back on the map.
• And More – look to the community and social channels for the full patch notes!

Exclusive Physical Editions 

Lastly, the developers are excited to announce a partnership with Skybound Games to create multiple physical editions of Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game. These meticulously designed editions, which combine the game with quirky physical and digital goodies, will be released this fall. More information will be announced in the coming weeks, including retailer pre-orders going live soon!  

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is a 3v7, asymmetric horror multiplayer experience based on MGM’s iconic 80’s movie and was made under the guidance and support of the original creator, the Chiodo Bros. Unique to this category, the game evolves the online horror formula by pitting a team of three Killer Klowns against seven scrappy humans.

Where the game stands out – the Klowns aren’t the only hunters… whereas others in the category feature a hunter vs. the hunted, Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game gives Humans the chance to be the aggressor, the escape artist, or master the art of hide-and-seek. With the backdrop of Crescent Cove, the game launched with five maps that explore all parts of this Klown-captured community.  Additional maps will be launched in the coming months.
