TNA Wrestling just dropped its full 2026 live event schedule, and as a lifelong fan and a Temple University researcher, I couldn’t be more thrilled. The biggest news for me is that TNA is returning to Philadelphia for a two-night stand at the Liacouras Center on Thursday, July 30th, and Friday, July 31st.
I’m already planning to be there for both nights, not just because the shows are happening right at my school, but because this event perfectly intersects with my personal and professional passions. My doctoral research at Temple focuses on the evolution of women’s professional wrestling, specifically how the TNA Knockouts revolutionized the industry by proving that women could headline shows and deliver high-caliber athletic performances long before the “Women’s Evolution” became a mainstream buzzword.
A Historic Return to the Liacouras Center
This return is particularly special because it has been over a decade since TNA last stepped foot in the Liacouras Center. The last time they were here was in 2011 for Bound For Glory, and I was lucky enough to be in the crowd that night. It was a historic evening that featured the final televised match of Hulk Hogan’s career as he faced off against Sting in a battle for control of the company.
For a deeper dive into why that night was so significant for both Temple and the wrestling world, check out my previous piece: Hulk Hogan at Temple University: The End of an Era in Professional Wrestling.
What Else is on the 2026 Calendar?
While the Philly dates are my personal highlight, the rest of the 2026 schedule is packed with major milestones:
- Slammiversary: Taking place Sunday, June 28th, at the Agganis Arena in Boston.
- Bound For Glory: The flagship event heads to the Yuengling Center in Tampa on Sunday, October 11th.
- New PPV Locations: TNA is expanding its premium event calendar with additional pay-per-views in Chicago (August 23) and Edmonton (November 15).
- International Reach: The tour includes multiple stops across Canada, including Brampton and Calgary.
Every live event this year will also feature post-show Meet & Greets, a fantastic opportunity for fans to connect with stars like the Hardys, Moose, and the current generation of Knockouts, who continue to push the division forward.
If you’re looking to join me at the Liacouras Center (or any of the other early summer stops), mark your calendars:
- Pre-Sale: Wednesday, April 22nd, at 10 am ET.
- Official On-Sale: Friday, April 24th, at 10 am ET.
I can’t wait to see how the next chapter of TNA history unfolds right here on campus. See you at the Liacouras Center!
