I believe that it is always best to treat others as they treat you, rather than judge them based on what other people say. I’ve interviewed Richard Scrushy three times for the book I’m writing about the history of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, and he’s been nothing but kind, honest, and generous with his time. As far as I’m concerned, everything he’s told me has been the 100% truth. Just a few days ago, I was honored to be the first person that Richard did an interview with for his new book entitled It Should Not Happen in America: From Selma to Wall Street―’A Journey of Fire and Faith.’ I enjoyed Richard’s first book, so I look forward to diving into this one. I’m certain that it will be a fascinating read, and I encourage you to pick up a copy. Read on for my exclusive interview with Richard Scrushy.Continue reading
I had the honor and pleasure of interviewing Bob Carter, Dixie Carter’s father, for my book about the history of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling! Yes, that Bob Carter — the man who saved TNA in 2002 when HealthSouth cut off funding. Knowing that I’ve had the opportunity to interview both Richard Scrushy of HealthSouth and Bob Carter of Panda Energy for my book is incredible. Bob and I talked about his thoughts on Dixie, TNA, his wife and son, Jeff Jarrett, and more. He was as nice as could be, and I’m delighted that he was kind enough to speak with me for this project.

Knowing that he built a massively successful business empire, I was interested in reading Richard’s book, which is entitled When Building a Billion Dollar Company: Here Are a Few Thing to Think About. Read on for my thoughts on this book.Continue reading
