I remember playing the original games on Super Nintendo, and then, eventually, on PlayStation, followed by Gamecube, Nintendo Switch, and PC, not to mention handheld versions too. I also have vivid memories of playing Mortal Kombat 4 on an arcade machine when it came out, and I was blown away by the new 3D look that the franchise had adopted. These video games have consistently capture my attention, and I’ve always found them to be more intriguing than Street Fighter. Therefore, I was more than happy to fire up Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge. Read on for my review of this animated film set in the MK universe.

Just one year later, in 2007, Saw IV was unleashed upon the world, and it had big shoes to fill. Once again, Darren Lynn Bousman was the director. However, there was a new writing team on board, and they were faced with the massive challenge of continuing and expanding on the intricately woven stories of the original Saw trilogy, which felt like a collective unit.
