Today’s Bloganuary post is based on the prompt: “What’s your dream job?” Read on for my answer.

My dream job is a professor, which I achieved in 2019 when I first taught at Temple University. Since then, I’ve taught at Drexel University and Villanova University.

Why is being a professor my dream job? Because that’s where I’m at my best. I can energize a room of students whenever I need to do so.

Teaching is part entertainment and part education. If students aren’t having a fun time, they aren’t as likely to learn. Therefore, I treat every class like a performance. I need to be on so the students leave the room feeling like they want to return for more.
