A similar book was released 20 years ago, Clive Barker: The Dark Fantastic by Douglas E. Winter. In addition to his authorized biography of Clive Barker, this author is famous for the biography of Stephen King that he wrote at the height of King’s career entitled Stephen King: The Art of Darkness. In 2019, I had the good fortune to meet Clive Barker at Monster-Mania 43 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He had his own room, replete with artwork, books, and more.
