Last night was Rebellion! We got the historic main event featuring AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a Title vs. Title Match against IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann, as well as a slew of additional bouts that resulted in a fast-paced and, ultimately, satisfying show that I rank among some of the greatest wrestling PPVs I’ve ever seen.
Last night I joined the guys at the Talking Nonsense About IMPACT Wrestling Podcast to provide an update on my books about the history of IMPACT Wrestling. In addition to talking about my project and answering questions from the guys and listeners, we chatted about the hottest news in the world of IMPACT Wrestling. Make sure to watch the full episode below!
I recently had the pleasure of interviewing the formidable Jordynne Grace for my books about the history of IMPACT Wrestling, and the first topic we tackled was this Sunday’s major PPV: Rebellion on FITE. Not only is this show stacked with matches featuring numerous bouts for the various championships in IMPACT Wrestling, but it also includes Fire N Flava defending their Knockouts Tag Team Titles against Jordynne Grace and a tag team partner chosen for her by the recently retired Jazz.
Sunday (April 25) IMPACT Wrestling returns to PPV with Rebellion on FITE! This event has a stacked card, with a historic main event featuring AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann in a Title vs. Title Match. Someone is going home with all the gold, and the only way to find out who is to tune in. FITE was kind enough to give me a PPV code to give away so one lucky winner can watch Rebellion for FREE! If you want a chance to be that person, follow the rules in the tweet below. I’ll announce the winner on Twitter this Saturday (April 24). Good luck!
Last night, IMPACT Wrestling dropped its biggest bombshell since collaborating with AEW. This Saturday’s main event, during the IMPACT Plus exclusive special Sacrifice, between IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann and TNA World Champion Moose will unify those titles. IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore shocked the world even more when he announced that the winner of this title unification bout at Sacrifice will go head-to-head with AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a title vs title match on April 24 at the IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion pay-per-view.
Just like the main event at Hard to Kill in January featuring Kenny Omega, this is another groundbreaking first for IMPACT Wrestling; and it’s a historic event in the world of professional wrestling, creating a sense of unpredictability that hasn’t been seen or felt since the height of the Monday Night War in the 1990s between the WWF and WCW. Below is the full press release from IMPACT Wrestling with all of the details. Make sure to tune in to Sacrifice this Saturday, and order Rebellion now because both of these events will forever alter the professional wrestling landscape.
