TNA Wrestling is Bringing Major 2025 Pay-Per-View Events to New York City AND Los Angeles

More than 1 million votes were cast in the unprecedented online destination selection offered to TNA Wrestling fans, yet there was no overwhelming winner, New York City or Los Angeles.

So, TNA Wrestling confirmed today that it will have a major live event in 2025 in BOTH CITIES!

The Rebellion pay-per-view will be Sunday, April 27, originating from the Galen Center on the campus of the University of Southern California (USC). Slammiversary is Sunday, July 20, at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York.

Kenny Omega’s arrival in IMPACT sent shockwaves all through the wrestling world. Omega made his in-ring debut at Hard To Kill as the team of him and The Good Brothers faced the trio of Rich Swann, Moose and Chris Sabin. Despite an impressive fight from the IMPACT trio, Omega pinned Swann and set in motion a historic title match. Swann would survive a difficult challenge against Moose at Sacrifice before an even bigger challenge was coming. At Rebellion in April, the IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann would face the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a Title vs. Title match.

This past Saturday, July 17, IMPACT Wrestling welcomed back fans for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it did so with one of the biggest shows of the year: Slammiversary on FITE. This year’s event marks the 19th anniversary of IMPACT Wrestling, formerly TNA Wrestling. As many of you know, I’m writing a book about the first 20 years of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling. IMPACT Wrestling Welcomes Back Fans At Slammiversary

On June 3, IMPACT Wrestling issued the press release below announcing that it is welcoming back fans at Slammiversary on July 17 in Nashville at Skyway Studios, which has been the home of IMPACT Wrestling TV tapings and live broadcasts since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tickets, which were priced at $250 a piece (nearly $300, when you factor in taxes and fees), sold out in approximately one hour. Read on for my thoughts on this exciting news.

We got the historic main event featuring AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a Title vs. Title Match against IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann, as well as a slew of additional bouts that resulted in a fast-paced and, ultimately, satisfying show that I rank among some of the greatest wrestling PPVs I’ve ever seen.
