Continue readingI’ve had the wonderful opportunity to interview and spend time with countless music legends. Two of my favorites are Barry Manilow and Melissa Manchester, both of whom always treat me like family. Over the past week, I got to bring my Dads to see and meet Melissa and Barry. Both experiences were perfect. Below is a recap of our night of Manilow magic.
As you may recall, I took part in the Hard To Kill CELL-ebration hosted by IMPACT Wrestling. It was an excellent event where fans got to spend quality time with the stars of IMPACT Wrestling, ahead of the Hard To Kill PPV. Continue readingOn Tuesday night one of my dreams came true: I got to meet and have my photo taken with Barry Manilow. Having been a fan of his music for more than 10 years, being able to meet the man himself backstage before the concert was a fabulous experience I’ll never forget.
On Friday I met KISS’ original drummer, Peter Criss, at the All Things That Rock Festival in Oaks, PA. This was the culmination of a terrific, music-filled year where I met and had my photo taken with all of the original and current members of KISS. I also had the privilege of being in attendance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony earlier this year where KISS’ original lineup was honored.
I never had a chance to see Ace Frehley, the original lead guitarist of KISS, perform with the band. By the time I started attending KISS shows, Tommy Thayer was the new “Space Man.” So, when Ace announced the tour for his new solo album – Space Invader – I was ready to finally see him live.
