Fangoria Under New Ownership

A couple years ago Fangoria relaunched and was widely praised by those in the horror industry, as well as fans, for the quality of the publication. However, its future was in jeopardy a few months back when Cinestate, the publication’s former parent company, got into hot water. Thankfully Fangoria is now under new ownership and the magazine is starting up again with the October issue. Below is the full email to Fangoria VIPs with all of the details. Make sure to subscribe today if you want to get your hands on the October issue of Fangoria!

Hey Friends,

Big news: it’s time to subscribe to FANGORIA, or to renew your subscription, so that you don’t miss issue 9, coming in October. But there’s even bigger news to announce: we’re under new ownership! Yesterday, THR broke the scoop that Wanderwall Entertainment CEO Tara Ansley (Beast BeastTragedy Girls) and entrepreneur Abhi Goel have purchased FANGORIA, and we’re going to continue operations with the same editorial team, quarterly release schedule and insightful, gory, utterly original content our readers have grown to love.

Now, armed with this info, we hope you’ll remain on the ride and resubscribe, or join the elite FANGORIA subscriber base for the very first time! For those who auto-renew their existing subscriptions by Sunday, August 30th or sign up for a subscription by October 1st, Issue 9 will be hitting your mailbox (postmaster willing) in mid-October, just in time for Halloween and the return of a certain iconic figure in horror. (We’re not going to say his name here. We’re definitely not going to say it five times.)

So how do you resubscribe? If your subscription started with Issue 5 in Fall 2019, your account will auto-renew THIS Sunday, August 30th, and the card you used to originally subscribe will be charged $79.99 + shipping costs. Congrats, you’re about to receive one more year of FANGORIA! Four issues will arrive in your mailbox in October, January, April and July. If you need to modify or update your subscription, log into your account on FANGORIA.com and click “manage subscription” at the bottom of your profile.

Want to subscribe for the very first time? Easy! You can do that HERE.

Thanks for being a VIP member of Team Fango. We’re excited to bring you another year of the best in horror entertainment. Or die trying.
