My Thoughts
When Will Jesus Bring The Pork Chops by George Carlin has its unique name because George wanted a book title that offended as many groups as possible. In this case, Christians, Jews, Muslims, and Vegetarians.
Listening to George narrate classic and new material for 7.5 hours was an absolute joy. I had forgotten how hilarious this book was. Not only was I laughing out loud to the point that my wife had to ask me what was so funny, but I was also sharing passages of text from the e-book version with friends so they could share in the hilarity.
I enjoyed this audiobook on the Downpour app, and it was one of the best audiobook experiences I’ve ever had. George was the most brilliant comedian ever, and this book is a celebration of all things Carlin. We could all use a little more laughter in our lives and When Will Jesus Bring The Pork Chops is the perfect remedy.
