I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Murder, She Wrote author Terrie Farley Moran. Her latest novel starring Jessica Fletcher is Murder, She Wrote: Death on the Emerald Isle. Below is my review of this book.
Murder, She Wrote: Death on the Emerald Isle is a captivating mystery novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. This book is a must-read for fans of the genre and for those who appreciate a well-written and engaging story.
The protagonist, Jessica Fletcher, is a celebrated mystery writer and amateur sleuth who finds herself on the beautiful Emerald Isle. When a body turns up, she is quickly drawn into the investigation. With her sharp wit and her unwavering determination, Jessica sets out to uncover the truth behind the murder.
The setting of the book is stunning, and the author does an excellent job of capturing the essence of Ireland. The descriptions of the rolling hills, the vibrant villages, and the majestic castles are beautifully written and will transport you to another world.
The plot is well-crafted and will keep you guessing until the very end. The characters are well-developed, and the dialogue is smart and witty. You will be drawn into the story and will feel as though you are a part of the investigation.
I switched between the Kindle and Audible versions, which were excellent. The audiobook, narrated by Laural Merlington, makes for a fabulous listening experience. It’s as if Jessica Fletcher was reading the book to me herself! I highly recommend checking out the audiobook versions of the Murder, She Wrote novels as they don’t disappoint.
Murder, She Wrote: Death on the Emerald Isle is a tightly woven and compelling cozy mystery novel that will keep you entertained from cover to cover. I highly recommend this book to Murder, She Wrote fans and to anyone who appreciates a good mystery story. A truly delightful read!
