When I reviewed Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny – Deluxe Edition in October 2025, I left genuinely impressed by how well the concept worked. Reimagining cartoon icons as fantasy RPG archetypes—from SpongeBob wielding a sword and shield as a Knight to Danny Phantom slinging spells as a Wizard—breathed fresh life into Nickelodeon’s crossover formula. The base game delivered fast-paced, fluid combat with just enough strategic depth to keep things interesting.

Now, GameMill Entertainment and developers Petit Fabrik and Fair Play Labs have dropped the first major post-launch expansion: Zim’s Tower of Doom. At $9.99, it adds two significant components to the table: an iconic new playable character in Invader Zim, and a dedicated horde mode dubbed the Pillar of Lost Possibilities.
