This past weekend I met former KISS lead guitarist Vinnie Vincent, who I’m interviewing in a few weeks. Vinne was as nice as could be, and our photo together turned out great. After autographing the photo for me, as well as the hardcover book that came with the KISS Box Set, Vinnie asked me to stick around so I did. We chatted for several minutes about a variety of topics, including our mutual appreciation for diverse types of music.

Vinnie is an enigmatic figure who has lived an extremely private life over the past 20 years, so I jumped at the opportunity to meet him. I look forward to speaking with Vinnie at length in a couple weeks, as I’m sure the discussion will be both entertaining and enlightening. If you have the chance to meet Vinnie at one of his upcoming appearances, I highly recommend you do so. His hospitality and generosity exceeded my expectations, which increased my level of respect for him. Here’s to hoping that Vinnie and the fans have a lot of great things to look forward to in the months and years to come.
