A new magazine is now available for a limited time: The Ultimate Guide To KISS. Watch my video review below to see every page of this new KISS magazine.

Today, KISS announced the Creatures of the Night 40th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition box set. Read on for all the details, including a video showing what’s inside the box set and a video where I share my thoughts on this upcoming release.
On February 2, 1983 Gene Simmons took part in an interview with a Cleveland news station to promote the KISS album Creatures of the Night. Below is the clip for you to enjoy.
After a long hiatus, I returned to the KISSFAQ Podcast for episode 226, where Julian Gill and I discussed the gauntlet of topics hitting the KISS ecosystem today, including David Garibaldi opening for KISS on its “End of the Road” tour, Vinnie Vincent cancelling his postponed comeback concert, and Ace Frehley taking the gloves off and going after Gene and Paul on social media. It’s a jam-packed episode and, as always, it was a blast to take part in. I hope you enjoy it.
Bobby Rock, the current drummer for Lita Ford, has a new book out: The Boy Is Gonna Rock. This exciting new memoir is about Bobby’s early years as a musician, with a focus on his time as the drummer of Vinnie Vincent Invasion. The book is receiving fantastic reviews from fans, and I look forward to reading it myself. Bobby was kind enough to speak with me about this new project.
This past weekend I met former KISS lead guitarist Vinnie Vincent, who I’m interviewing in a few weeks. Vinne was as nice as could be, and our photo together turned out great. After autographing the photo for me, as well as the hardcover book that came with the KISS Box Set, Vinnie asked me to stick around so I did. We chatted for several minutes about a variety of topics, including our mutual appreciation for diverse types of music.
Within the past year, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to interview Gene Simmons twice! Since we last spoke, he announced The Vault, which is a 150-song box set, chronicling 50 years of unreleased demos and outtakes, housed in a 38-pound safe. Starting in January, Gene is hand-delivering these vaults for $2,000 each to fans across the world. If you spend $25,000 you can be an executive producer of The Vault and spend an hour with Gene in a recording studio. Or, for $50,000 Gene will come to your house for a two-hour party and you can invite up to 25 friends to take part in the festivities. I’m not buying The Vault because it’s way out of my price range and wheeling home one of these behemoths is a surefire way to upset my wife. However, if you’re interested in learning more about The Vault, you can do so at GeneSimmonsVault.com.
