I hope everyone reading this had a wonderful Thanksgiving and an even better weekend. With December and another episode of IMPACT Wrestling just a day away, let’s dive into this week’s IMPACT Wrestling Report.
Matt Striker Returns
The most delightful part of IMPACT Wrestling this past week was Matt Striker making a return to the commentary booth. Matt is the greatest color commentator alive today, and WWE should have never let him go. Thankfully for us IMPACT Wrestling fans, he’s back on TV delivering commentary that is far superior to what we’re used to from Madison Rayne. I hope this is a permanent change because Matt’s intelligence, delivery, and polish elevate the product immensely.
The Swingman Is Innocent, Daddy!
As absurd as some may find it to be, the “Who Shot John E. Bravo?” storyline has been a lot of fun. Throughout the episode we were treated to Wrestler’s Court segments where Johnny Swinger was on trial for shooting John E. Bravo. I don’t want to spoil the outcome for you, but I will say that Johnny’s OJ Simpson line was comedic gold!
JAZZ Is Back!
Perhaps, the biggest surprise on IMPACT Wrestling was the return of JAZZ, who recently retired. Returning to the ring to be partners with Jordynne Grace in the Knockouts Tag Title Tournament is awesome! Jordynne is the best female wrestler in IMPACT, so pairing up with JAZZ makes for a formidable team. I can’t wait to see these two in action!
AJ Styles Returns?!
One of the funniest moments during IMPACT was Swoggle surprising Ethan Page and fans with his tribute to IMPACT original AJ Styles. It was a hilarious, light-hearted moment that made me smile.
IMPACT Wrestling This Tuesday!
Tomorrow night’s IMPACT Wrestling has some great matches on tap. Willie Mack vs. Chris Bey is sure to be a barn burner. Rohit Raju vs. Crazzy Steve, the next Knockouts Tag Title Tournament, and much more! It’s sure to be a fantastic show that you don’t want to miss.
