On April 7, rock icons KISS will release the next installment of their Off The Soundboard official live bootleg series with KISS – Off The Soundboard: Poughkeepsie, New York, 1984. Recorded live at the Mid-Hudson Arena on November 28th, 1984, during the Animalize World Tour, this is the fifth in a series of live releases by the band and will be available to stream and download, with a 2-LP standard black vinyl set, CD, and a limited edition 2-LP set pressed on 180g custard yellow vinyl. Neil Diamond 2015 Philadelphia Concert: Melody Road Tour (Full Video)

On March 15, 2015, I saw my first and last Neil Diamond concert when he made a stop in Philadelphia on his Melody Road Tour. It was my last Neil Diamond show because he retired just a few years later after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. I recently came across the following full HD recording of that concert. It’s a great memory for me, and I hope you enjoy it too. Below is the full video and the setlist for the concert, as well as a video I recorded showing off the tour program I picked up at the concert. Neil Diamond may be done touring, but the music lives on.

KISS Off The Soundboard: Live In Virginia Beach

Last year, KISS launched what can be best described as a line of official live bootleg albums. KISS Army collectors, like myself, have many of these live concerts in audio (and sometimes video) form. Nevertheless, getting an official release means the potential for improved audio quality or an updated mix. This year’s KISS Off The Soundboard archival live concert release is the band’s Virginia Beach show from July 25, 2004, during KISS’ Rock The Nation tour. It comes out this Friday, March 11. Review: KISS Destroyer 45th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition

On November 19, the 45th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition of Destroyer, KISS’ quintessential album, is unleashed upon the world. UMe is releasing multiple versions: a Super Deluxe 4-CD + Blu-ray Audio box set, a standard double black vinyl, limited edition yellow and red double colored vinyl, a 2-CD set, and digital. I was fortunate enough to receive an advance copy of the Super Deluxe Edition of Destroyer. Read on for my thoughts on this album and whether or not it’s worth buying.
