TNA/IMPACT Book Update: Tommy Dreamer

On the eve of Bound For Glory, IMPACT Wrestling’s biggest show of the year, I’m proud to say that I was the first person Tommy Dreamer agreed to do an interview with following his recent appearance on Dark Side of the Ring. It was a two-part interview, covering all of Tommy’s time with the company, both in and out of the ring. We talked about Bob Ryder, Jeff Jarrett, Dixie Carter, Scott D’Amore, COVID, “Action” Mike Jackson, Paul Heyman, Daffney, and a whole lot more. Of course, we also discussed Dark Side of the Ring too. Tommy has always had my respect, and it was an honor and pleasure to speak with him at length for my book about the history of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling.

IMPACT Wrestling Report: Slammiversary Review

This past Saturday, July 17, IMPACT Wrestling welcomed back fans for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it did so with one of the biggest shows of the year: Slammiversary on FITE. This year’s event marks the 19th anniversary of IMPACT Wrestling, formerly TNA Wrestling. As many of you know, I’m writing a book about the first 20 years of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling. IMPACT Wrestling Moves to Thursdays

Big news: IMPACT Wrestling is moving to Thursday nights, starting April 8! As old-school TNA Wrestling fans know, Thursdays are the night that, for many years, TNA brought us the hard-hitting action we love. With NXT moving to Tuesdays on April 13 and NWA Powerrr also airing the same night on FITE, it makes perfect sense for IMPACT to switch things up, and moving back to its classic night is a smart move. Below is the full press release with all of the details.

Book Update: Jeff Hardy!

I’ve got my biggest book update yet: I interviewed Jeff Hardy! Yes, the most popular wrestler in the history of TNA spoke with me at length about his time in the company. We talked about his first run with the promotion, winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship multiple times, his Victory Road 2011 match against Sting, overcoming personal demons, his feud with “Broken” Matt Hardy, Dixie Carter, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Jarrett, and so much more! It was an honor to speak with “The Charismatic Enigma” because he’s not only a professional wrestling legend but a creative genius. I look forward to including his commentary in both of my books about the history of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling!
