This time last year there was a lot of uncertainty in my life, both personally and professionally. Heading into 2020, I was hopeful that the year ahead would bring me good fortune and opportunity. Thankfully, I was correct. I had two amazing opportunities as a professional, and I personally had a great deal of good things happen too. However, what none of us could have anticipated was that a global pandemic would hit — and it hit hard.

2013 was my first full year of blogging, and it was a great one. I wrote 174 posts and exceeded 20,000 views, reaching people in 118 countries. I also had the honor and privilege of interviewing some of my favorite authors, actors and musicians, including:
