24: Behind The Scenes

Over the past couple years, I took the time to start watching the wildly popular TV show 24. I also had the opportunity to interview the star of the show, Kiefer Sutherland, which was a honor. I also had the pleasure of seeing him perform his music live, and I got to hang out with him afterward at a nearby bar. You could say it was a memorable 24 hours. If you’re into all things 24 and looking to learn more, 24: Behind The Scenes is 168 pages covering the first fives seasons of the show. Replete with insights from those involved, a foreword by Kiefer Sutherland, and more than 200 photos, this book is another winner from Insight Editions. Some of those cartoons included He-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Inspector Gadget. These cartoons, among others, captured my imagination and conjure up great memories. Totally Awesome: The Greatest Cartoons of the Eighties, a beautiful hardback book from Insight Editions, celebrates all of these cartoons, and more, with exceptional behind-the-scenes insights from the people who brought these shows to life. It is all lovingly presented with vivid imagery and delightful inserts that will bring a gleam to your eye and a smile to your face. The Elder Scrolls: The Official Cookbook

The Elder Scrolls: The Official Cookbook is a beautifully bound hardback book that clocks in at nearly 200 pages and more than 70 easy-to-follow recipes so you can take in all of the diverse tastes of Tamriel. Released in 2019 by Insight Editions, this cookbook does a wonderful job of respecting its source material and providing gamers and foodies alike with a wealth of options to try at home. As a longtime fan of the Elder Scrolls franchise, I appreciate having the opportunity to create dishes I’ve only ever seen in the games. It’s a fascinating and brilliant bridge between Tamriel and reality. Yes, other cookbooks have done this in the past. However, the Elder Scrolls games are steeped in rich history and culture that goes beyond other titles – making this book feel like an artifact one might find and read in Skyrim, Oblivion, or Morrowind.
