It’s not often that I get to interview someone who was a driving force behind the formation of an industry, so I was honored to have the opportunity to do just that when I spoke with Nolan Bushnell. One of the founding fathers of video games, Nolan created the iconic and enduring company, Atari. He also founded Chuck E. Cheese, yet another revolutionary business that influenced millions of people. Today, Nolan is focused on fixing education with his newest entrepreneurial endeavor, lernip. It was an honor and pleasure to speak with such an intelligent, influential, and insightful maverick. I hope you enjoy our discussion.

On the eve of Bound For Glory, IMPACT Wrestling’s biggest show of the year, I’m proud to say that I was the first person Tommy Dreamer agreed to do an interview with following his recent appearance on Dark Side of the Ring. It was a two-part interview, covering all of Tommy’s time with the company, both in and out of the ring. We talked about Bob Ryder, Jeff Jarrett, Dixie Carter, Scott D’Amore, COVID, “Action” Mike Jackson, Paul Heyman, Daffney, and a whole lot more. Of course, we also discussed Dark Side of the Ring too. Tommy has always had my respect, and it was an honor and pleasure to speak with him at length for my book about the history of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling.

Jonathan Cain is a brilliant musician and a kind person. He is one of the most prolific, influential, and skilled performers ever, and he’s back with new music, both as a solo artist and as a member of Journey. Today, Jon’s new single, “Oh Lord Lead Us,” is available to buy and stream. And, on June 24, Journey released the new single, “The Way We Used To Be,” from its forthcoming new studio album. Jon was kind enough to speak with me at length about his new music, Journey’s new album, hitting the road again, how the Lord inspires him, his wife, Paula White-Cain, Steve Perry, and so much more. I hope you enjoy our discussion, and make sure to buy and stream Jon’s new single because it’s excellent!

Last night, I joined the guys at The Talking Nonsense About IMPACT Wrestling Podcast to spill the T-N-A on the latest developments regarding the book I’m writing about the first 20 years of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling. As always, it was great chatting with the guys, answering questions, playing a fun game, and filling people in on the latest details regarding my book. I look forward to returning next month to talk about Slammiversary results and much more. Until then, check out the full episode from last night below.

I believe that it is always best to treat others as they treat you, rather than judge them based on what other people say. I’ve interviewed Richard Scrushy three times for the book I’m writing about the history of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, and he’s been nothing but kind, honest, and generous with his time. As far as I’m concerned, everything he’s told me has been the 100% truth. Just a few days ago, I was honored to be the first person that Richard did an interview with for his new book entitled It Should Not Happen in America: From Selma to Wall Street―’A Journey of Fire and Faith.’ I enjoyed Richard’s first book, so I look forward to diving into this one. I’m certain that it will be a fascinating read, and I encourage you to pick up a copy. Read on for my exclusive interview with Richard Scrushy.

Despite some audio issues caused by the live Twitch stream, I had a wonderful time sharing updates with everyone about Kevin Nash, Velvet Sky, the structure of my book, potential subsequent books, and more. You can watch the full video below. Enjoy!

On December 13, 2019 I reached out to Kevin Nash for the first time about interviewing him for my books about the history of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling. Yesterday, just a few hours after watching Nash’s “WWE Untold: Two Dudes With Attitudes” documentary on Peacock, he called me. We wound up speaking for five hours! It was easily one of the best conversations I’ve had during this entire process.
