I recently had the pleasure of interviewing the formidable Jordynne Grace for my books about the history of IMPACT Wrestling, and the first topic we tackled was this Sunday’s major PPV: Rebellion on FITE. Not only is this show stacked with matches featuring numerous bouts for the various championships in IMPACT Wrestling, but it also includes Fire N Flava defending their Knockouts Tag Team Titles against Jordynne Grace and a tag team partner chosen for her by the recently retired Jazz.

Book Update: Keith Mitchell’s First-Ever Interview

Keith Mitchell is one of the most talented and respected people within the professional wrestling industry. Currently serving as the Executive Producer for AEW, Keith was TNA Wrestling’s Executive Producer for 17 years. Prior to this, he was the Executive Producer for WCW and WCCW. Throughout his nearly 40-year career, Keith has never done an interview . . . until now! Over the course of two days, we spoke for five hours about all things TNA. We covered the formation of the company in 2001, TNA going on the road full-time in 2013, Spike TV cancelling TNA, what it was like working under Scott D’Amore’s leadership, and much more. It was an absolute honor to be the first person he fully trusted to do an interview with, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity. Stay tuned for plenty of commentary from Keith Mitchell in both of my books about the history of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling!

Book Update: Angelina Love!

My latest big-time interview was with Angelina Love, one half of The Beautiful People! We covered her entire time with TNA Wrestling, from 2004 through the end of her final run in 2017. We discussed her thoughts on Velvet Sky, Gail Kim, the influence the Knockouts Division had on modern day women’s wrestling, Dixie Carter, Jeff Jarrett, and much more. The Beautiful People was a group that garnered some of the highest ratings in the history of TNA, providing fans with endless hours of entertainment. I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to connect with Angelina and gather her thoughts for my project on the history of TNA/IMPACT wrestling.

71-Year-Old Wrestler “Action” Mike Jackson Tells All

“Action” Mike Jackson is one of the best wrestlers in the world, yet he’s 71-years-old. I first saw him perform live at Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore show in November 2019, and he blew me away. He was the highlight of the entire show, and I told him so afterward. The entire crowd was captivated by his speed and ability. In April 2020 he debuted on IMPACT Wrestling in a match against Johnny Swinger, again, blowing away wrestling fans, but this time it was on a worldwide stage. Around this time COVID took over the world, so that run came to a halt. However, as you’ll see in my interview with this championship wrestler who has grappled with countless legends, the best is yet to come. I look forward to the day when “Action” Mike Jackson returns to the ring in IMPACT Wrestling, and I hope I’m there to see it live. If you’re looking to enjoy some of his prowess while at home, give him a call at 205-936-9050 to buy a variety of DVDs, t-shirts, and more from the living legend himself!

A Conversation With Exotic Adrian Street

“Exotic” Adrian Street is one of the most influential professional wrestlers ever and he was way ahead of time — keeping fans guessing with a gender-bending persona replete with provocative mannerisms and flashy attire. His new documentary, You May Be Pretty, But I Am Beautiful: The Adrian Street Story, is excellent, and you can read my review of it here. I sat down with Adrian for my first-ever video interview, and we talked for two hours!
