Continue readingNearly two years ago I interviewed Diamond Dallas Page, the founder of DDP Yoga (DDPY) and a legend in the professional wrestling industry. It was an amazing discussion that resulted in a series of events: we became friends, I stayed at Dallas’ house for a week a few months later, he taught me DDPY at the largest workshop ever, and I became Philadelphia’s first-ever certified DDPY instructor, among other wonderful opportunities. If you want to get to know Diamond Dallas Page better and learn all about DPPY and why it’s so special, I implore you to watch his newly released documentary, Relentless, which is available on Amazon Prime Video.
Continue readingBIG NEWS! One week from today is my first Thursday night DDP Yoga class at the Marian Anderson Recreation Center. I will teach this class every Thursday at 7 p.m., starting Jan. 9.
Today, I took part in an episode of Completely Damaged Radio at Montgomery County Community College, where I talked about becoming a certified DDP Yoga instructor and why I made this decision, as well as pro wrestling, and other topics. It was a fun time, and you can check out the episode below.
Speaking of DDP Yoga, my next class is Saturday (December 21) at 9 a.m. It’s $15 to attend and spots are filling up, so register now.
My first DDP Yoga class as a certified instructor was a big success, and it sold out several days in advance. To those of you that came out, thank you so much. I’m glad you enjoyed the class and found it to be beneficial. If you couldn’t attend, I’ve got good news—my next class is taking place on December 15 at 10 a.m. at FeeLean Fitness in South Philly (16th and Washington Ave.). The cost to attend is $15, and you can register here. I look forward to seeing you all on December 15!
This morning I taught my first class as a certified DDP Yoga instructor. If you want to be notified about where and when future classes are taking place, please sign up for my email list here. The crazy thing is that this time last year I wasn’t even doing DDP Yoga. As with many fitness programs, it was one of those things I started and stopped a few times. In December 2018, I decided to recommit myself to doing it regularly. Shortly thereafter, I interviewed the CEO and founder of DDP Yoga: Diamond Dallas Page. I followed that up with a week-long stay at Dallas’ house in April, a DDP Yoga workshop in July, and enrollment in the DDP Yoga certification program. I completed the DDP Yoga certification process in less than six months and became the first Philadelphian to be a certified DDP Yoga instructor. In a city known for its firsts, I’m proud of this accomplishment. With all of this in mind, I headed into my first class this morning as a certified DDP Yoga instructor.
On June 1, I enrolled in the DDP Yoga certification program. Less than six months later, I’m the first Philadelphian to be a certified DDP Yoga instructor!
On December 7 at 10 a.m. my first class is taking place, and I’d love for you to be there. It’s free to attend, so join us at at FeeLean Fitness in South Philly for what promises to be a fun, energizing class. Register here, and I’ll see you on December 7!
With Thanksgiving upon us, DDP Yoga devotees, such as myself, have something to be thankful for: five brand-new DDPY DVDs, featuring 23 workouts from the DDP Yoga Now app. Even better—there is a Black Friday deal going on right now that will save you 30% on these DVDs, so act fast. If you’re a veteran or active service member, you can get 50% off—a fantastic deal that is offered every day of the year as a way to thank those individuals for the work they do. Below are the details of what’s on these new DVDs.
Diamond Dallas Page (DDP), who I recently interviewed, announced his “Positively Unstoppable Challenge,” where people can register (in the U.S. or Canada, no later than January 31, 2019) to have the opportunity to transform their lives in a meaningful way over a 16-week period for the chance to win up to $1,000,000.
Diamond Dallas Page is an amazing human being who can be defined by one word: positivity. His positivity, along with DDP’s persistence and work ethic, is what catapulted him to becoming a three-time world champion in professional wrestling and a WWE Hall of Fame inductee in 2017. It’s also what enabled him to develop and grow DDPY, a fantastic health and wellness program that I, along with millions of other people around the world, use on a daily basis. On January 15, Dallas is releasing his third book entitled Positively Unstoppable: The Art of Owning It, where he provides the reader with a blueprint for how they can apply his approach to their lives. DDP was kind enough to speak with me for an hour about his amazing journey thus far. I hope you enjoy this lengthy and insightful discussion. Bang!
