Atkins. The author, Colette Heimowitz, is vice president of nutrition and education at Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. She has more than 25 years of experience as a nutritionist and received her MSc in clinical nutrition from Hunter College of the City University of New York. Moreover, Colette worked alongside Dr. Atkins at his clinical practice in New York, helping thousands of patients. With so many Atkins books available, how does this one stack up? If you’ve been following my recent posts, then you know I’ve been doing Atkins and seeing terrific results because of this lifestyle change. I find it fitting that I decided to get into Atkins in 2022, the 50th anniversary of Dr. Robert C. Atkins’ seminal book that brought the low-carb approach to millions of people the world over.
